Family Adventures

Can we start the weekend over again? DIY, Fishing & Shopping!

What was the Florida Morehouse Family up to this weekend? Well, let me just say we were quite busy. Mama decided to complete a DIY workshop along with starting her first container garden, and Daddy enjoyed a morning of fishing. As a family Daddy decided to take us to the Florida Mall since Johnny and Mama were dressed in their “Sunday Best”, he even bought mama a pair of fancy sandals. Follow along as we describe our weekend fun!

“Sometimes parents need to refuel and enjoy the activities they have a passion for, that’s exactly what the Morehouse family did this weekend!”

First Stop {DIY Workshop at Pastiche Home Market}

This mama signed up for a DIY workshop at Pastiche Home Market. I ended up making a photo holder. This was one of the easiest DIY projects I have done, and it made me feel so relaxed and rejuvenated (somewhat of a therapy for me). The owner was so helpful and friendly! If you live in the Orlando area and have never been to this store you absolutely need to! It is just the cutest home market, I’m talking pinterest cute! 🙂  WAIT! there’s more…they have so many fun things to offer as well such as DIY workshops, seasonal crafts, open studio time, and chalk painting 101.  Currently they are offering a  Fall Craft Day! How fun would it be to spend an afternoon being creative, I’m all about that!

**Status Update on Johnny**

Johnny and Daddy enjoyed some father and son time (mostly Johnny slept!)

Next Stop {Daddy went Fishing}

Daddy works very hard for his family, so it’s only fair that he too gets some time to enjoy his activities. So of course he decided to go bass fishing at Lake Underhill. Guess what?! He caught 2 of the biggest Bass since he’s taken up fishing! Yay Daddy! Check out his video below to view footage of it. It’s amazing! (I’m not just saying that because I’m his wife) 😉

**Status Update on Johnny**

While Daddy was fishing on Sunday morning mama and Johnny played, read, ate, and went on a walk with LadyBelle (our dog). Then, when Johnny was napping mama decided to get started on planting her flowers and seeds for her first container garden.

Johnny was a big help with shopping for the supplies at Home Depot!

Final Stop {Florida Mall with the Family}

Johnny & Mama dressed up in their “Sunday Best” and Daddy took us out to the Florida Mall. We stopped at this lovely shoe vendor called Galibelle. The concept is you purchase one pair of soles along with interchangeable tops. I am in love with this concept! Think about all those shoes you have lying around in your closet, these shoes help to eliminate “shoe clutter” and open up space in your closet. Their interchangeable tops are creative & fashionable! I just had to get my own! I went with the basic “Galibelle Sandal Sole” along with 3 different interchangeable tops: sparkly, white, and a palm tree pattern. They have such a variety. If you live in the Orlando area make you’re way over to the Florida Mall and take a visit at Galibelle. It’s located right across from the Baby Gap. What mama doesn’t like shoes?! (especially comfy & cute ones)

We were also able to capture another family photo at the Florida Mall! Our family tends to be a little on the goofy side!

WOW, after recapping our weekend I didn’t realize how truly busy we were! Oh, the places you’ll go! How was your weekend? I hope it was either relaxing, adventurous, or productive!
